Community House Collective


Welcome to the website of the Collective in Victoria, B.C., Canada! After two years of community building, the Community House project is moving into a new phase, possibly without a physical house to call home. We hope to inspire others with our learnings, and continue this valuable work in our daily lives.

WHO WE ARE
we are an intentional community, living and working together. we challenge ourselves and others to build a just, sustainable and compassionate society.

we have been inspired by the resistance communities of the Catholic Worker movement.

OUR VISION
  • welcoming others into our home, a place of expression, creativity, celebration and refuge

  • living simply, respectfully of the earth, through our personal and political choices

  • celebrating social justice and nonviolence. working to transform corporate capitalism and all forms of oppression into something more beautiful

  • opening an inclusive space to explore radical spiritualities
