WHO WE BE
We are an intentional community, living and working together, striving to inspire ourselves and others.
We have been inspired by the example of the Catholic Worker, who dare to build a just, sustainable and compassionate society.
OUR VISION
- Welcoming others into our home, a place of refuge, expression, creativity and celebration.
- Challenging corporate capitalism and the violence it relies on, and working for social justice to transform ignorance and oppression.
- Living simply, respectful of the Earth.
- Providing an inclusive environment to explore, express and live spirituality and ritual, both traditionally and non-traditionally.
The Community House Collective grew out of a project started at a World Council of Churches ecumenical training in Cuba, 2001.
